Old lyric:
"Ya Allah Yang Maha Kuasa
Lanjutkan Usia Duli Yang Maha Mulia Dirgahayu Darul Makmur Aman dan Bahagia Sentiasa Ya Allah Selamatkan Duli
Tuanku Raja Kami".

True Meaning of the Flag of Pahang State
Black represents the colour of the Bendahara’s authority who once upon a time ruled the state.
White represents the monarchy. Additional white above the black means that the State of Pahang is a state of sovereign
monarchy and has its own Sultan.
It also means that the state has special privileges, laws, customs, and codes of conduct as well as specific Sultan rights
as a sovereign, monarchical state in Malaysia.

True Meaning of the State’s EmblemThe coffee-leaf shaped emblem is made of gold including the penongkok
and taran. Gold was chosen, firstly because to show that in 1862, gold was the most important source of income in
Pahang. Secondly, it was also a powerful tool to fight against the immunity magic. The crossed tusks beneath the coffee
leaf suggest that Pahang was rich with elephant tusks and that it was a very profitable business selling tusks at that time.
The phrase “Ya La Tif” means the gentle one – to reflect that the rulers of Pahang do not need
violence to instill peace in the state. The phrase also works as a powerful spell against evil magic.
